Career Planning

myBlueprint is an online career and academic planning platform available to all Edmonton Public students.

myBlueprint allows students track their academic progress, research career and post-secondary opportunities, and complete a series of personality and trait assessments to help them better understand their personal potential. The website also allows student to create digital portfolios for future reference. Students can see their counsellor for login information.

The Alberta Government Learning Information Service  (ALIS) provides information on over 500 Occupations and Educational Programs (OCCinfo). For more information on working conditions, salaries, education and more, visit OCCinfo

Student for a Day/Campus Tours

A number of the Post Secondary institutes offer the opportunity for you to 'be a student for the day' in a program that you are interested in or . Check out their websites for more information or speak to your counsellor in Students Services. This is an excellent opportunity to get a real hands on experience and to ask already enrolled students questions.

Advisors at M.E. LaZerte

Currently, Grant MacEwan, University of Alberta, NAIT, Norquest College, King's University, Concordia University and University of Calgary all have advisors that come into the school. They help with the application process and may even meet with you one-on-one. For upcoming dates and to book an appointment, please check with Students Services.
