  • Random Selection for Grade 10 Students

    There has been significant demand for our incoming Grade 10 and Grade 11 classes for the 2019/2020 school year at M.E. LaZerte. As a result we will be entering into the Random Selection process for our Grade 10 class and will not be able to accept any registrations from outside of our attendance area for our Grade 11 class. 

     

    We will receive the District generated Random Selection list of Grade 10 students on April 18, 2019 and will begin calling families Tuesday, April 23, 2019 until Friday, April 26, 2019. We would ask families for patience and to wait until we have called on Friday, April 26, 2019.

    We are grateful to share in the excitement for Mehera Salah as the recipient of the Loran Scholarship which is valued at over $100 000. Mehera was awarded this scholarship based on character, service, and leadership promise. Please listen to this fantastic Edmonton AM radio interview with Mehera.

  • Literary Magazine Edition 1

    Volume 1 of the newly launched Literary Magazine has launched. Paper copies are available at The Canoe, in Student Services, the Front Office as well as in the Library and English classes.  Writers, poets and artists from the school are showcased in the magazine and it will come out every month or so for student enjoyment. Take a peek into the creative mind and enjoy the read!

    The first day of classes for Grade 10 is Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 9:00 am. All grades start their classes on Friday, August 31, 2018.
